Casa para la Familia, Rancho Santana, Nicaragua

As my wife and I traveled around the world and met people from different cultures, speaking different languages and with various points of view we always looked at the possibility of living in each location. Some areas were too far from home, while some where just not for us on a permanent basis.  Once we stumbled upon Nicaragua, we fell in love not only with what the country had to offer (great beaches, excellent surfing, colonial cities and great fishing) but we fell in love with the wonderful, friendly, warm hearted people.

Our next step was to find the perfect location to build our dream house.  After looking around, we found the perfect region and then the perfect community.  Once we found our lot, we started to dream.  It was only then that our house started out with a vision and developed into Casa para la Familia [House for the Family].

Feel free to browse through the site and discover what we have done.  What you will find is a transformation from dense jungle and dirt to an open floor plan house of concrete, granite and stainless steel.  I am sure that even the most discerning traveler would find comfort in our ocean view house as well as our community.

One of the many “crowded” beaches in the area.

Wonderful sunsets occur every day.
